First step - I carefully assess the body and obtain background information. Are there any previous injuries, special requests or questions.

Classes begin with a tension relieving five minute warm-up for those accustomed to a sedentary lifestyle. The fundamental technique is carefully explained, demonstrated, and correlated with Ballet terminology.


The Barre, Floorwork, 
     Stretches, Center Work is Customized for the individual  and Patiently Taught. 
      



A complete barre is a minimum of an hour plus stretches. We conclude the class with  varied center work including a lyrical adagio, basic turns and jumps emphasizing correct placement and landings; so necessary to avoid injuries.
